About Us

The Noble Traveller finds its inspiration in the Grand Tour, a 17th and 18th century rite of passage for certain well-to-do Europeans. It was part of every good education. A formation that could only be had by an unhurried sojourn abroad. A time when one could slowly unravel the nuances of a foreign culture and fall in love with another way of being. At the Noble Traveller we are passionate creatives with an enthusiasm for old-world cultures.

For many years we have travelled Europe and explored various towns and cities rich in history and tradition. Along the way we began to search for properties with innate beauty, in exceptional locations, overflowing with charm and unique stories that serve as foundations to these homes.   

These properties have hosted many dinners, celebrations, and created some of our most cherished memories with friends from various corners of the world. This was the impetus that led to our realisation: we needed to make these homes available to people with similar sensibilities around art, architecture, culture and food. We must share the transformative effect their creative energy can inspire.

Our mission is to create rich and meaningful discoveries for the Noble Traveller, to offer immersive and authentic experiences for all ages. The properties are enchantingly curated to make the Noble Traveller feel à l’aise and at home, and to instill a desire to return again and again…

In today’s fast paced world, our properties recall another time; a time that is more analog, where absence has a place. Charm and life in slow motion allows the Noble Traveller to restore and recharge. Our properties are sanctuaries that heal body, mind, and soul.

Our culture is informed and defined by the brand and experiences we have created. We are passionate, creative, and inspired people, our team is small yet diverse. What we all have in common is a solid set of values that centre around the following; doing what we say we will do, being honest and transparent about every aspect of our relations, being kind and all anchored in true service and hospitality.

 

Rental Agreements

Our Rental Agreement is intended to protect the property and, most essentially, to ensure that the Noble Traveller has a wonderful stay. We recommend that you read it carefully. If you should have any questions please be very open and clear with us, and we will do our best to answer them.

 

Policies

Booking with Us: 

Once you book with us, you will receive all the required documentation by email for your reservation, the rental agreement, and any specifics of your stay. We will honour the agreement, and we trust you will do the same.

The initial deposit payment at time of booking is 30%. This is non-refundable. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival date. This is also non-refundable. However, we will always do our best too rebook a cancelled reservation and work to refund as much as possible, but this is not always easily done as many travellers book up to a year in advance. 

Check- in/Check-out:

The check-in and check-out process is very important to us both. We need to ensure the property is ready for your arrival, and for your departure. Our Property Manager will be there to welcome you, and show you around the property, how things work, and to answer any questions. They will ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant, you may contact them should you have questions.   

Check in is from 16.00 -19.00. If the property is not rented immediately prior to your stay, earlier check in may be arranged if possible. 

Check out is by 10.00
